The top and bottom are made with a durable powder-coated finish, and the tube is made of a fine metal mesh screen material. With the open air flow of the mesh screen, combined with drainage holes in the seed tray and a metal lid, your birdseed stays dry & fresh. The easy-open top makes it simple to clean and to fill, and the feeder comes fully assembled & ready to fill with up to 3/4 lb. of Thistle/Nyjer seed or Finch mix.
